Can Tho is accelerating its ambition to become the Mekong Delta’s hub for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. In December 2025, the city successfully hosted one of its most comprehensive and strategic events: the Can Tho City Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Week 2025 (CASTID 2025).
Held from December 16–20, 2025, the event was co-organized by the People’s Committee of Can Tho City and the Ministry of Science and Technology, with support from the Can Tho Department of Science and Technology and Can Tho University.
Under the theme “Can Tho – A Center for Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation,” CASTID 2025 marked a significant milestone in advancing the goals of Resolution No. 57, which aims to drive breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Can Tho Aims to Become A Regional Hub for Science, Technology, and Innovation.
CASTID 2025 plays an important role in connecting national policy directions with regional innovation activities. The event brings together government agencies, experts, and enterprises within a collaborative ecosystem to drive practical and scalable development initiatives.
Since establishing its presence in 2015 as the first IT & BPO provider in Can Tho, this approach aligns closely with DIGI-TEXX’s long-term commitment to the region. Through our Hau Giang operation center, DIGI-TEXX supports large-scale digital transformation projects while contributing to local talent development and sustainable growth.
Strategic Objectives
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi highlighted several key goals for this expansion:
- Regional Leadership: To establish Can Tho as the primary driving force for the development of the entire Mekong Delta.
- Enhanced Competitiveness: Scaling up the city provides the necessary resources and population to compete more effectively on a national level.

DIGI-TEXX at CASTID 2025: Committing To The Robust Development Of High-quality Workforce
At CASTID 2025, DIGI-TEXX participated through our exhibition booth and technology showcases, presenting practical digital solutions that help organizations modernize operations and improve data-driven management.
During the event, we also strengthened connections with local authorities, universities, and SMEs by sharing real-world use cases and practical guidance on adopting technologies that deliver measurable results across different sectors.
Beyond technology, DIGI-TEXX also highlighted our commitment to human resource development in the region. Through discussions with universities and training partners, we shared our approach to developing high-quality IT and BPO talent capable of supporting international projects, particularly in large-scale language and image data processing.

DIGI-TEXX Hau Giang and ISC
ISC Hau Giang (Innovation Services Center) is the province’s first IT park, designed to support technology research, digital services, and high-quality workforce development in the Mekong Delta. With strong regional connectivity – around one hour from major neighboring provinces – ISC Hau Giang serves as a strategic hub for innovation and digital growth.
Located within ISC Hau Giang, DIGI-TEXX Hau Giang operates a 1,700 m² international-standard operation center, delivering digital and data processing services for global clients. The center is equipped with smart building technologies and sustainable solutions to ensure efficient, high-quality operations.
Through our presence at ISC Hau Giang, DIGI-TEXX actively supports IT and BPO talent development, enabling local professionals to participate in international projects, particularly in large-scale language and image data processing, while contributing to the region’s long-term digital transformation.
About the event
CASTID 2025 attracted more than 10,000 participants and featured over 20 activities, including high-level forums, specialized conferences, exhibitions, and technology showcases.
Delegations from government bodies, research institutes, universities, tech companies, startups, SMEs, and investors across Vietnam and abroad joined the week-long program.
The agenda included key events such as the Mekong Delta Sustainable Development Forum, Vision to 2045 – SDMD; the Innovation & Creativity Forum – Can Tho, a Livable City; and the 1st Can Tho Science, Technology, Innovation & Digital Transformation Forum.
Alongside these, the Tech Showcase, AI-focused sessions, green and digital transformation discussions, and an exhibition of 50+ booths presenting more than 500 technologies highlighted the region’s growing innovation ecosystem.
The event also welcomed the participation of Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Chairman of the Can Tho City People’s Committee; Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization; Mr. Pham Duc Long, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai, Vice President of Can Tho University and Hero of Labor Ho Quang Cua, creator of the ST25 rice variety.
