Nurture The Future: DIGI-TEXX Awarded Scholarships For Underprivileged Students In Hau Giang Province

On May 24, 2024, as part of the ‘Mekong Delta Digital Transformation and Innovation Week 2024’ DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM granted 60 scholarships for underprivileged students in Hậu Giang province to support education and encourage learning.

As part of the community activities in the ‘Digital Transformation and Innovation Week’,  Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Information and Communications, and businesses, organized a ceremony to grant scholarships and gifts to underprivileged students in the province. 

At the scholarship awarding ceremony, Do Thi Ly – Human Resources Manager at DIGI-TEXX, represented DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM in awarding 60 scholarships to underprivileged students for their efforts toward achieving academic excellence in Hau Giang province.

Understanding the students’ difficult circumstances in Hau Giang province, Nguyen Hoai Thuy Hang – Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hau Giang Province expressed her admiration for the student’s determination and resilience in the face of challenges. Above that, she encouraged the students to continue pursuing their studies and aspirations.

The Chairman of HCA – Lam Nguyen Hai Long emphasized the long-term plans to facilitate education and local community development in Hau Giang province. 

He emphasized HCA’s ongoing efforts to develop programs that aid the young generation, especially those with exceptional IT and language skills.

Throughout the event, Do Thi Ly also highlighted DIGI-TEXX’s joint efforts to support disadvantaged students in their educational journey. This scholarship activity is one of the initiatives to support education and empower the local community.

Beyond financial assistance, she hopes these scholarships will inspire the students, contribute to their broader learning path, and continue to pursue their dreams.

On 23rd and 24th May, DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM was honored to be a part of ‘The Mekong Delta Digital Transformation and Innovation Startup Week 2024’ – organized by the People’s Committee of Hau Giang Province in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA). 

Besides the scholarship program, DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM also has other activities within the event’s framework, specialized developing initiatives to promote sustainable growth in the Mekong region in the seminars on digital transformation, and participation in digital technology exhibitions.
