Last month, DIGI-TEXX had the opportunity to connect with students and young professionals at two university career fairs hosted by RMIT University Vietnam and Vietnamese-German University (VGU), both held on May 13.
These events provided a valuable space for students to explore career opportunities, receive practical guidance, and engage directly with industry professionals as they prepare for their transition from campus to career.
Connecting with Future Talent at RMIT
At the RMIT Career Fair, our team had the opportunity to connect with students eager to explore career opportunities and gain a clearer understanding of today’s digital workplace.
Many came from backgrounds in Project Management, Business, and AI Technology, bringing thoughtful questions and fresh perspectives on the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.

Throughout the event, students received practical feedback on their CVs, helping them better showcase their strengths and experiences to potential employers.
We also hosted career mentoring conversations, covering topics ranging from industry expectations and workplace readiness to long-term professional development in the digital age.

The fair also created space for meaningful one-on-one discussions with aspiring professionals, allowing us to learn more about their ambitions while sharing insights from our own experience.
Above all, it was a chance to introduce students to DIGI-TEXX and support them as they take the next steps in their career journey.
Supporting Career Readiness at VGU
While discussions at RMIT focused largely on career development and workplace readiness, the atmosphere at VGU brought a stronger emphasis on engineering, technology, and the opportunities emerging alongside AI.
DIGI-TEXX brought a dedicated Career Hub aimed at helping students feel more prepared and confident as they navigate the transition from university to the workplace.

Coming from a strong engineering background and studying in an international academic environment, many students brought both technical curiosity and a global perspective to our conversations.
Throughout the event, participants took part in CV makeover sessions, explored career opportunities in the context of the rapidly evolving AI landscape, and experienced mock interviews that provided practical insights and immediate feedback.

Beyond discussing career paths and industry expectations, these interactions created meaningful opportunities for students to ask questions, exchange ideas, and gain a better understanding of today’s hiring landscape.
For our team, it was equally rewarding to connect with aspiring professionals and learn more about their ambitions and interests. To round out the experience, students also received small gifts and a little extra encouragement from the DIGI-TEXX team along the way.
Looking Back
Both career fairs offered meaningful opportunities to connect with ambitious students, share practical career advice, and learn more about the aspirations of the next generation of professionals.
We would like to thank RMIT University Vietnam and VGU for hosting these events and creating a platform where students and employers can engage, learn, and build valuable connections.
We look forward to continuing these conversations and connecting with more emerging talent in the months ahead.
