The year 2025 continues to highlight the growing importance of sustainable business practices in Vietnam and worldwide. Among the milestones of this year is the GBA Business Awards 2025, organized by the German Business Association (GBA). The award proudly featured the presence of Ms. Andrea Maria Sühl, Consul General of Germany in Vietnam.

The event celebrates excellence and innovation across the German business community, while also serving as a special occasion to celebrate the 30th anniversary of GBA.
This year’s award was divided into three prestigious categories: Green Business of the Year, Business Innovation Award, and Community Impact. With more than 30 nominations from across both Large Enterprises (LEs) and Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the competition was intense.

From this pool, the jury selected the Top 18 Finalists – six per category (three LE and three SME). At the awards night, each company had 2 minutes to present their project to showcase their key initiatives and impact. And six winning companies from the event will also be nominated for the EuroCham Business Awards 2025.
DIGI-TEXX was honored to be named a finalist in two categories: Green Business of the Year and Community Impact. This recognition alone reflected our balanced approach to sustainability, where we strive to combine environmental stewardship with social responsibility.

The most unforgettable moment came last week, at the awards night on September 19, when we were proudly announced as the Winner of Green Business of the Year – Large Enterprise, surpassing industry leaders Nestlé Vietnam and Schaeffler Vietnam.
This victory is a powerful acknowledgment of our unwavering commitment to green transformation within Vietnam’s business landscape.
Our award-winning initiatives reflect the way we integrate sustainability into everyday operations, such as reducing single-use plastics by saving around 100 bottles per day with reusable systems, planning a solar-powered EV charging station by 2026 for employees and the local community, and aligning our roadmap with Vietnam’s net-zero by 2050 goals.
While the award is a major milestone, we view it not as an endpoint but as a stepping stone in its sustainability journey. We remain dedicated to exploring new solutions in renewable energy, waste reduction, and community engagement, and inspire a wider business ecosystem in Vietnam.
