In June, we had the honor of welcoming a visiting delegation from FamilySearch, an international NGO dedicated to helping all people discover their family story. Rooted in strong family and faith values, FamilySearch works to preserve important family records and make them freely accessible online, while always complying with local laws.
To support this mission, they operate over 500 cameras across more than 160 countries to collect valuable genealogical data, ensuring that even the most fragile historical records are preserved for future generations. With over 125 years of experience, FamilySearch has established a global presence and provides access to its resources through more than 6,000 FamilySearch centers in 129 countries, including its main library in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This visit was a meaningful opportunity to strengthen our partnership, exchange ideas, and give the FamilySearch delegation a closer look at the progress and operations of the genealogy projects we are delivering at DIGI-TEXX.

Strengthening Collaboration Through Innovation, Dialogue, and Shared Experience
In this visit, the FamilySearch delegation toured our headquarters in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City, where they had the opportunity to engage directly with the genealogy projects currently being implemented at DIGI-TEXX.
This hands-on experience allowed them to gain a closer and more in-depth understanding of how we operate, from the project setup and data handling process to the way we ensure precision and professionalism in every detail.
During the visit to the project operation department, the delegation was particularly impressed by our advanced genealogy data extraction technologies. These technologies combine many advanced technologies like Optical Character Recognition (OCR) with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs).
DIGI-TEXX’s integrated approach supports multilingual processing of diverse historical documents, including handwritten records. This enables the company to handle genealogy projects on a global scale.

All of this is supported by a comprehensive quality control framework that operates in multiple layers to ensure the highest standards of accuracy, completeness, and consistency when working with complex historical records such as immigration documents (including Ellis Island passenger lists), African American records, the 1950 United States Census, and Canadian census collections.
After that, both companies engaged in a warm and open dialogue, exchanging insights and discussing potential directions for future collaboration. This discussion further strengthened the alignment between our shared vision and long-term goals.
Recognizing the value of DIGI-TEXX’s automated technology, multilingual capabilities, and professional project execution, FamilySearch expressed strong interest in expanding the collaboration, leading to the agreement of a new project shortly after the visit.
In addition to the professional exchange, we were also pleased to organize cultural experiences for our guests, including visits to some of Vietnam’s well-known streets and landmarks, as well as a ride on the city’s double-decker bus.
In addition to the professional exchange, we were pleased to organize cultural experiences for our guests, including visits to some of Vietnam’s well-known streets and landmarks, as well as a ride on the city’s double-decker bus. These activities gave our partners a better understanding of Vietnamese culture and people, along with insight into the working environment and values that shape DIGI-TEXX.
More than just cultural exchange, these shared moments created opportunities for meaningful connection and helped strengthen the relationship between the two companies. They also reflected our ongoing commitment to building long-term partnerships based on mutual trust, understanding, and shared goals.
Discovering Ancestors Through Precise and Innovative Technology
At DIGI-TEXX, we recognize that genealogy projects require a high level of accuracy and responsibility. These projects help people understand their origins, trace family connections, and, in many cases, reconnect with lost relatives.

Because of this, accuracy is not just a technical requirement; it is a critical factor that directly affects the quality and meaning of the results. We understand that even a small mistake can lead to confusion about a person’s identity or family background, which is why we apply strict standards and careful processes to every project we undertake.
To meet these expectations, we combine our team’s expertise with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and multilingual optical character recognition.
These tools are integrated into a comprehensive quality control system with multiple layers of review to ensure each data point is captured and verified with care. This is especially important when working across diverse languages and document formats.
The recent visit from FamilySearch gave us a valuable opportunity to demonstrate not only our technological capabilities but also our dedication to delivering work that truly meets their expectations. It also helped reinforce the collaboration between our two companies and created a foundation for future projects.
Each genealogy project we support provides people with the chance to understand their background better and reconnect with their families.
